About Me

I have lived in Santa Cruz for more than 30 years. But I also serve the whole bay area. Since I was a child I have always loved numbers, so bookkeeping just seemed like a great fit. I enjoy helping business owners get a hold of their finances, and see the amazement on their faces when they see what great, accurate reports can do for their business. Warm and approachable Numbers shouldn’t be stressful. I’m a bookkeeper in Santa Cruz who keeps your finances organized, accurate, and on schedule—so you always know what’s coming in, what’s going out, and what’s possible next. I work in QuickBooks and support CPA’s, with a focus on sole proprietorships and small businesses. Clients appreciate my clear communication, practical advice, and tidy month-end close. Need a one-time cleanup or a steady partner each month? I’ve got you covered.

I also love trains. My son and I volunteer our time every Saturday at the Niles Canyon Railway. We actually build the track that the trains run on. These are full sized trains, so we use the tracks that all trains run on. It is not easy, but it is meaningful and satisfying knowing that it is for a greater cause. The fact is that the whole Niles Canyon Railway is run by volunteers.

An organized desktop scene representing small business bookkeeping in the Bay Area: a sturdy reclaimed-wood table with a visible patina, holding an open laptop showing abstract graphs, a neatly stacked pile of invoices, and a slim wireless calculator aligned precisely with a navy-blue notebook. A potted succulent in a white matte planter adds a local California touch, with the blurred outline of a Santa Cruz–style street of independent shops outside the window. Soft, diffused afternoon daylight filters in, creating a calm, focused mood with gentle shadows. Captured from a slightly elevated angle in photographic realism, the composition uses the rule of thirds to emphasize the tools of bookkeeping and meticulous organization.

Your Local Bookkeeping Team

Based in Santa Cruz, I bring with me a team that has years of bookkeeping experience, regional tax insight, and hands-on support to small and mid-sized businesses across the Bay Area, delivering accurate books, timely reporting, and practical advice you can actually use.
